We know what we are, but not what we may be"

-William Shakespeare

We are The Thespians, a homeschooler high school Shakespearean club. Our goal is to enrich our learning, enhance our literacy, and to enjoy ourselves, all through the lens of The Bard's works. We read and discuss Shakespeare's plays regularly, as well as putting on productions of them. Our motto is "Esse" or, simply, "To Be": Shakespeare understood better than most how this world is filled with amazing things.

We'll make dumb jokes about Antonio, Murder, and disguising oneself as a member of the opposite gender all day; for, as Shakespeare said, "better a witty fool than a foolish wit".
